SEQUIAM CORP - Continues Brekel Group Inc.'s Work With World Olympian Association - Under the BGI Sports Division

MONDAY , AUGUST 12, 2002 11:13 AM

New York, New York, Aug 12, 2002 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- Sequiam Corporation is pleased to announce the continued progress of the work on the World Olympian Association ( WOA ) Internet Community and the Official Website for the Community of Olympic Athletes, by Brekel Group, Inc. (BGI) under its BGI Sports division (www.bgisports.com).

Sequiam Corporation acquired over ninety percent (90%) of BGI on July 19, 2002.

On December 5, 2001, BGI signed a contract with the World Olympian Association to exclusively develop, create, host and maintain the official Internet site of the World Olympian Association called ExtraNet. The scope of ExtraNet is intended to encompass the full digital media program of the WOA, including the delivery of editorial content, on-line membership services, support of WOA sponsor/partner programs and electronic commerce.

In addition, BGI Sports is currently implementing the worldwide database for the Official Website of the Community of Olympic Athletes.

Under the terms of its contract with the WOA, BGI Sports is developing ExtraNet at its own cost and expense, and receives 35% of all sponsorship revenues in addition to 35% of any merchandizing sales prices less fixed costs in accordance with United States Generally Approved Accounting Procedures ( GAAP). In addition, the WOA has committed to provide support in integrating BGI Sports' relationship within the Olympic family, including the International Olympic Committee (IOC), various National Olympic committees (NOCs), official sponsors of the Olympic Games, and the WOA membership. WOA shall be the exclusive owner of all content on ExtraNet and shall be the owner of all material created for the ExtraNet by WOA or BGI Sports. BGI expects to begin receiving revenue under this contract in 2003, and BGI expects to continue to incur expenses related to the development and ongoing maintenance of ExtraNet for the duration of the contract.

The WOA creates ongoing and active support of the International Olympic Committee in its progressive developmental policies in sport and culture. The World Olympians Association is constituted by National Olympian Associations around the world. All Olympians are members through their National Associations. Among its primary activities, the WOA disseminates Olympic ideals, provides educational programs, supports the fight against drugs, promotes environmental protection, works against violence and intolerance, supports the diversity and equality in sports and sport management, supply self-help benefits to Olympians and contributes to sport-centered charitable programs.

"To contribute to the Olympic ideals and the Olympic movement is an honor and privilege," says Nick VandenBrekel, Chief Executive Officer of Sequiam Corporation. "The activities, goals and ambitions of the World Olympians Association are strongly supported by our company, and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with this representative body of the Olympic Movement."
