![]() DocumentiStop to the political crime SPA, convinced and determined in the political victory through the peaceful alternative of the free vote on June 29, 1997, condemns any means of violence, any assassination attempts against any politicians or top officials. SPA is totally involved and is rendering its contribution through the electoral campaign, which is taking place from North to South, by transmitting peaceful messages to its electorate and through the direct contribution of the Primer, Fino, and the other socialist minister in the Government of National Reconciliation. SPA is doing its utmost to establish peace and order allover Albania and condemns any terroristic act against any Albanians and politicians. The last incident in Elbasan is an unprecedented act, which should not be repeated again. Such kind of acts aim country's further instability, sabotaging June 29-th elections. Socialist Party confesses, at the same time, that such kind of terroristic acts take place to justify the state of emergency in Albania and help in exercising pressure to the politicians of the progressive opposition, to excuse, at the same time, any terroristic acts. Socialist Party of Albania, by making use of this occasion, repeats, once again, its confirmed and determined stand of being distanced from these irresponsible terroristic acts, but, at the same time, requests the Interior Ministry structures to take all the necessary measures to put an end, once and forever, to the political crime's game in Albania. Nano - Pangalos meeting in Athens After the successful electoral rallies in the Southern towns of Albania, a top delegation of SPA, headed by its chairman, Fatos Nano, went to Greece for a high level official visit. At 11.30 of June 12, Fatos Nano and other leaders of SPA, were received in the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Minister, Teodoros Pangalos. Present in the meeting were the deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Kranivjotis, Balkan experts in this Ministry, Kiprianos and Korantis etc. After the official meeting between SPA delegation and the high representatives of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nano and Pangalos had a tet-a-tet meeting. At the end of the meeting, the head of SPA delegation, Fatos Nano, and the deputy Foreign Minister, Kranivjotis, held a press conference. Nano told the present journalists about the tense situation in Albania and the necessity to hold normal and democratic elections on June 29-th. The Greek deputy Foreign Minister, Kranivjotis, stated that we are still warned about the Albanian developments and these elections are considered, as he characterised, as the only way out from the crisis. The final results of these elections will be considered as uncontested by the Greek Government. At the end he mentioned that the Greek Counsellor office in Gjirokastra will restart its activity depending on the developments in the area. Kranivjotis underlined that the Greek Government has advised its Embassy in Tirana to limit as much as possible the granting of visas and by the approach of the elections date to stop granting them. Talking about the emigrants, Kranivjotis, said that they will be equipped with one month special permeation, with the full guarantee from the Greek Government to help them return again to Greece after the elections, under the condition that in their passport they should have the seal of the constituency electoral commission. After these public statements, in an interview to "Doutche Velle", Nano appealed to all the Albanian emigrants to return to Albania and through their free vote to really contribute in bringing the country out of the crisis. In the same day, SPA top delegation was received in PASOK residence by the member of the Executive Office, Teokatos, the Alternative Secretary, Sorodakis, deputy Foreign Minister, Kranivjotis and other leaders of this party. At the end of the meeting both parts went in front of the journalists. Greek representative spoke about PASOK assistance to SPA within the frame of the elections, by wishing, at the same time, SPA victory in them, about the forms of cooperation between the two parties and their extension after the elections. While, Mr. Nano said that we talked about the elections, the atmosphere in which they take place and the ways of cooperation after Thesalonikis modules. Nano highly estimated Greek minority contribution in Albania and Albanian immigrants in Greece to bring the country out of the crisis through the elections. SPA delegation's visit is on. SPA electoral campaign is on The whole Mallakastra pro left Under double security measures, of people, on one side, and of police, on the other, and people's enthusiasm, the local and central leaders, hand in hand, got on the speaking podium. SP local leader, who opened the electoral rally, said that "for about 6 years we were not allowed by Berisha's regime to protest openly. With our votes we should say to it "Farewell". General Secretary of the party, Rexhep Mejdani transmitted two messages, the first one of SPA leader, Nano, and the second, from the North of Albania, he had just arrived. We will step down Berisha's regime by our political weapons, which are our progressive alternatives, honesty, professionalism and our international support of USA and European countries. The Secretary General of the party invited Mallakastra electorate to vote for the form of the regime, as well, for the Parliamentary Republic. SDP leader, Gjinushi, addressed the participants that there were not the people who disliked Berisha, but, it was Berisha who killed the innocent people. The participants in the rally were greeted by other socialist leaders like Arta Dade, the Finance Minister in the Reconciliation Government, Malaj, and SPA candidate for Mallakastra, Prof. Doc. Kastriot Islami. Under the cheering of the participants "SPA will win", "Nano, Nano", "Islami, you are our deputy", "Vlora, Vlora", "North and South are one", ended the electoral rally of SPA-PSD. Bulqize: Insured victory Thousand people of Bulqiza and its vicinities came to take part in the electoral rally of Socialist Party. Unlimited poverty, unemployment, insecurity, criminality, these are some of the deeds of DP governing in Bulqiza.
