- Ura Vajgurore: Peace instead of war
Ura Vajgurore which is for peace and understanding, instead of war, has poured down into an electoral rally and has received with great enthusiasm SPA chairman, Fatos Nano, SDP chairman, Skender Gjinushi, the leader of the Agrarian Party, Lufter Xhuveli, (who is a common candidate of Agrarian and Socialist Party in Poshnje, Kutalli, Gorican etc.) and SPA candidate of this electoral constituency, Sokol Hazizi.
June 29 will be the day of the dictator and all the dictatorships in Albania overthrow, said Mr. Nano in his speech. Then he appealed for peace, understanding, dignity in order to come out of the deep multidimensional crisis.
Then, Skender Gjinushi, Pandeli Majko and the candidate for deputy of this constituency, Sokol Hazizi addressed the participants.
After the rally, in their way back to Berat, the caravan of cars was stopped in a road segment for some 10 minutes by some people of the area. In fact, these people used to check the road and make it safe for the guests. Then the caravan of cars made for Berat.
Berat: Peaceful Socialist Party Messages
More than a rally, more than the normal enthusiasm, more than once and forever chains' break, was the electoral rally of the Socialist Party and its allies in Berat.
Thousand and thousand of people have poured down into the streets to be assembled in the square in front of "Margarita Tutulani" palace of culture. There were assembled the people who were inhaled to protest openly in the squares against Berisha's regime, there were assembled people who were beaten and blooded by its segments. There were assembled people, the savings of whom were stolen by Berisha's administration. There were assembled people, the votes of whom were manipulated in the elections of May 26 and October 20 of the previous year.
The leaders of SPA, SDP, AP and the common deputies of this coalition were well received by the present participants.
Fatos Nano used to transmit peaceful and understanding messages in his speech. June 29-th will split up the two worlds, said Nano, the past with Berisha and the future with your freedom, with your dreams, with your dignity.
After talking about war and democratic values of Berati people, Nano said that it was this people who put Berisha's regime at a corner, because it violated their rights and dignity, their liberty, their assets and property, their future. Let Berisha remain in the history as the politician who offered destruction to Albania, as the anachronic politician of this country. He and his bands should be responded for everything stolen to this people. He and his bands should take the punishment of your free vote, in order to make Albania move forward, to construct the real democracy, to cultivate pluralism and to make the country prosperous.
In his address to the people, the leader of the Social Democratic Party, Skender Gjinushi, said that the ancient people of Berat can not support the splitting policy of Berisha. And you are the vivid expression of the combat against Berisha dictator. On June 29-th Albania will make the dictatorship loose. Our left wing coalition will win, ended Mr. Gjinushi.
Then, the participants in the rally were greeted by other representatives of Socialist Party, by the chairman of the Agrarian Party and the candidates for deputy in those constituencies.
The rally went on peacefully and it was a vivid expression of the support for Socialist Party and its allies.
In SPA Residence
Meeting with the representative of EDU
SPA chairmanship members, Et'hem Ruka and Kastriot Islami and the SDP chairmanship member, Pavli Zeri, received in the residence of SPA, under his request, EDU representative, Wolfgang Grosruk. The representative of the European Right paid interest on the holding of the pre electoral campaign, on SPA and SDP stands during this campaign etc.
SPA chairmanship members, Ruka and Islami, after presenting the successful electoral campaign of SPA, from South to North of Albania, made present, as well, different problems with which they and their electorate have been faced in this campaign, as well as the overall attempts of the Democratic Party and its incriminated segments and those of Berisha to sabotage these elections and further tension the situation. They laid emphasis on the fact that SPA is supported by the Albanian electorate from North to South, despite of the fact that DP raises ambushes to its representatives, as it happened with the Primer, Fino, or, lately, with its Secretary General, Rexhep Mejdani etc.
Through these acts and other similar ones, too, by not giving access to SPA to the electronic media to present their all electoral activities, DP and Berisha try to impose the idea of the people non support to Socialist Party and they instigate the split and criminality among the Albanians.
SPA representatives made clear that DP is receivable allover Albania, at a time that the compilers, organisers and the executors of the criminal acts is better not to provoke any more the Albanian electorate, either in North or in South.
At the same time, they raised with great concern the issue of the lift of the state of emergency, which is mainly related with the criminal structures, commanded by its commander, Celo, and the approach of the time limit of the elections process at 18.00 hours, in order to avoid any chaos or manipulations in the elections.
SPA representatives mentioned, afterwards, the OSCE role in these elections. They expressed their confidence to this institution and their view that the political parties will agree with their final objective report and, of course, will not support any prefabricated report, which might be served from persons, who are already known of obstructing Vranitzky's successful mission.
The Albanian political forces, underlined the representatives of SPA, are in need of profiting from their European equivalents, but, these last ones, should not support, by no means, any kind of punishable practices, as it happened with the support of the right wing forces in the manipulated elections of May 26 of the previous year, when these forces stole people's votes.
On his part, Pavli Zeri, mentioned numerous of manipulations and obstacles of DP and Berisha to the Government of the National Reconciliation.
The meeting was characterized by a mutual understanding spirit, despite of the political position of any of the political forces in the political spectrum.
