I would like to greet for the success of the Socialist Party in the parliamentary elections. It was an expected victory and you deserved it. I am very pleased from this success.
The obligation of all the Albanian political parties is related with sending the country towards a better political and economic future.

Q: Which is the form of the coalition cabinet led by it?
A: Based on the mandate of my party, as a party of the majority and in coalition with SDP, DAP and further more, I could confess that I have already ended the negotiations with the pre-electoral coalition partners and with our allies we have come into accord for the mode of the government after the elections. In general, we have set up the scheme of the new government with its main elements, where the principals of the co-governing will be based, on a coalition of five political parties, being based into the new logic of the time, on that of the cohabitation with the opposition, by not ousting any one. But, I can not exclude the fact that some one can stay out of this new logic of cohabitation.
Q: Can you mention concrete names on this phase?
A: I would like to stress that the logic of the new government and of political powers is based on some already given principals, well known by the democratic world, reflected into the accords we have realised before and after the elections, thus, into the fact that it will be a real coalition. There will not be any "Laco-party" in it. Despite of the representation of the partners of the governing coalition in the parliament, generally reflecting the electoral dimensions each political party of the coalition received in this plebiscite voting, which has nothing in common with the right wing electorate slide into the left, but it is a plebiscite voting, in favour of the new alternative and policy of the co-governing and cohabitation of the majority with the opposition, we presented and was realised by the Albanians.
Q: What kind of governmental posts SP is ready to sacrifice due to the extensive base of coalition?
A: SP will implement this concept, this principal, this scheme, which derive from this new policy. So far, we are ready, we have come into concrete formulas, by not being behaving as superiors after the elections, and not being so jealous to usurp all the political powers. Taking into consideration the advantages of our close followers, we know very well of what not to do any more in Albania, or in its relations with the World. For a consequence, Socialist Party will not take on itself the three main pillars of the state. We will have only the Prime Minister and the President, Parliament speaker position will pass to the socialdemocrats, as the second important partner of the pre electoral and political coalition we have achieved to govern the country. This formula will be implemented, for sure, into the main new governmental positions, in the Ministry of Defence, that of Interior and in the Foreign Ministry, by maintaining even inside them, the formula of reconciliation, of cooperation and of cohabitation of the coalition forces.
Q: What else unites you with your allies?
A: For sure, the philosophy, the political concept and the commitment in all the levels of the political power, unite us. What bring us together is the reconstruction of the new institutions of a civil and democratic state, of putting it into operate as soon as possible and according to the well known European Union standards. Thus, the question is not to implement left or right wing stands. The question is to implement standard stands in order to make Albania an undistinguishable country, compared with the other countries of the European continent. So, to follow the Western model...
Q: What guarantees you will offer to the previous state administration that the new one will not remove the old one, because of political reasons?
A: Such kind of guarantees will not have simply propagandistic values, which so far are present in the public opinion and in its surrounding. They will pertain to the same philosophy I already presented. They should be legal guarantees, administrative and organisative ones, thus, real guarantees, that all the competitors into the new public administration, being them political officials or civilian ones, thus, the natural part of the state, to be equally treated and to compete under equal rules of the game, based on professionalism and, for sure, reflecting the priorities of the new political majority.
No one will face any more sweeping campaigns, political discriminations, because of supporting this or that party.

Police terror does not resolve the conflict
Regarding the latest events in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and police violence exercised against thousand of Albanians in Tetovo and Gostivar and their bloodshed, the spokesman of the Foreign Department of SPA, expresses the strong indignation to its authors and, at the same time, expresses the condolences to the families of the victims and those injured.
The spokesman said that the exercise of violence and police terror, against the Albanian people, who peacefully are demanding their own rights, including here the use of the national flag and other symbols, it is not at all the way of cohabitation to be followed, especially, into a country of a multinational population.
We appeal to Skopia authorities, it was stated into the declaration of Socialist Party, to be aside from the implemented practices, especially these last days, regarding the Albanians, in order to put an end, once and forever, to violence and to replace it with the democratic means, by coming into a dialogue with the Albanians, who live there, to return into a normal situation the country and this region so much in need of it. The constructive mutual understanding and dialogue will serve to the peaceful cohabitation spirit and security in the Balkan region and further more, as NATO Summit pointed out.
SPA, as the main governing force in the country, which received people's mandate through the elections of June 29-th, has implemented and will implement, as part of the foreign policy, the protection of the Albanian rights, wherever they are, in conformity and full respect to OSCE norms and Chart, on the benefit of the good neighbourhood, of peace and stability in the region and further more.
